Shots fired outside Norwalk home

Police say a shooting took place in a residential Norwalk neighborhood early Monday morning.

NORWALK - Police say a shooting took place in a residential Norwalk neighborhood early Monday morning.

Officials say shots rang out around 12:45 a.m. outside a two-family duplex on Woodlawn Avenue.

A bullet ripped through the home, but no one was injured.

Residents say the neighborhood is typically quiet and safe.

The cause of the shooting is under investigation.
