A single-engine plane crashed near Danbury Airport Thursday evening. The only person on board was the pilot, who was not injured.

DANBURY - A single-engine plane crashed near Danbury Airport Thursday evening.

The crash happened at around 7:30 p.m.

Officials say the plane was trying to land, but fell short of the runway. The only person on board was the pilot, who was not injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
