NORWALK - Driving across southwestern Connecticut proved to be a challenge today in many areas thanks to huge snow banks.

In Norwalk, a snow bank standing about 6 feet tall at the corner of Water and Haviland streets made it hard for drivers to maneuver. Norwalk Police Sgt. Andre Valez said he almost got into an accident this morning at that very intersection. He said the snow bank is obstructing the view.

Drivers are urged to approach intersections with caution. Norwalk police said so far, there have been no snow bank-related accidents.
