Snow blamed for Westport building collapse

WESTPORT - Westport firefighters say heavy snow caused part of the roof and back wall to collapse at the Cedar Brook Café.

The building was a former home to a gay bar that closed last June after 71 years in business.

The National Weather Service is advising everyone to clear the snow off of their roofs to avoid the possibility of collapse.
