NEW CANAAN - News 12 Connecticut on Tuesday hit local streets to see how the wintry weather affected road conditions.

Parts of Connecticut received a dusting of snow, which led to very little accumulation, if any.

A Department of Transportation spokesperson told News 12 earlier in the day that roads were pretreated in problematic areas on state highways and state secondary roads like I-95 and the Merritt Parkway.

Drivers were advised to use caution on the roads, especially during the Wednesday morning commute.
