MILFORD - Crews were out today cleaning up snow that was left piled on the side of Milford roads following yesterday?s snowstorm. Many drivers complained about the ability to see around some of the snow mounds, with some of them being as high as 7 feet in the downtown area. The motorists said another issue was that many fire hydrants were buried in the snow.

Between 60-80 public works employees worked 12-hour shifts to help with the cleanup job. Milford Mayor Jim Richetelli estimated that the snow removal job will cost $100,000.
