NORWALK - Many Norwalk school kids had to be extra careful at the bus stop today.

Norwalk Mayor Dick Moccia says snow piles are blocking stops and unshoveled walkways are forcing kids to walk in the street.

Moccia has asked people to have patience and exercise caution. He has also urged drivers to be on the lookout and slow down during school hours.

Meanwhile, many parents say they will wait with the kids to keep them safe until the buses arrive.
