NORWALK - As Election Day nears, local political experts warn the recent snowstorm will likely make for a lower than usual voter turnout.

At its peak, more than 750,000 customers were without power in Connecticut because of the storm. But political experts say it's important for residents to get back on track.

Sacred Heart University Professor Dr. Gary Rose says last weekend's snowstorm coupled with this being an off-year on the ballots, means fewer people are expected at the polls.
