NORWALK - Recent snowstorms have forced the delay of mid-term exams in Stamford, giving some students extra time to hit the books.

Officials at Stamford High School say delayed starts and school cancellations have shifted the exam schedule to end on Monday. They say if another snow day occurs tomorrow, the tests will be extended until Tuesday.

Students say they're relieved to not only have more time to study, but also free days to catch up on sleep.

School officials say they have four snow days built into the calendar and have only used two so far.
