Snowy winter impacting businesses

GREENWICH - All of the snowfall that has hit southwestern Connecticut this winter is taking its toll on many local businesses.

In Greenwich, some owners say that business continues to slow as the snow piles up. One Greenwich pizza shop says the inclement weather has slowed its normally busy lunch hour.

According to Pomodoro Pizzeria, local corporations have been ordering in more, which has kept business moving. Other shop owners say they're been coming up with creative ways to boost revenue, including hosting live shows on the weekend and extending bar hours.

The restaurant says it lost more customers during the first couple of snowstorms, but by now, residents seem to be getting sick of being snowbound.
