Some Bridgeport students got to take their fathers to school to participate in read aloud day. Fathers, male caregivers and members of the Fairfield University

BRIDGEPORT - Some Bridgeport students got to take their fathers to school to participate in read aloud day.

Fathers, male caregivers and members of the Fairfield University basketball team met this morning at Bridgeport Academy to share stories.

Organizers say it is important for children to have male role models and they get very excited for this day

They say this was the largest fathers read aloud day they have had yet.
