Some Darien students return from Paris

A group of students from Darien Middlesex Middle School arrived home today after being trapped in Paris for several days due to the volcanic ash

DARIEN - A group of students from Darien Middlesex Middle School arrived home today after being trapped in Paris for several days due to the volcanic ash cloud covering Europe.

However, not all of the 29 students made it home this afternoon. School officials say they had to split the group in half because they couldn't get enough seats on the plane.

The other half of this group is expected back around 8 p.m. tonight.

Fairfield?s Ludlowe High School is expecting 18 students who were stranded in Italy to return tonight as well.
