When police arrived at the scene, Dawid initially told officers that nothing was going on. He then told them that she was in the garage and he had tried to kill her.

Easton police called in the state police to assist with the investigation.

The Easton police chief says the wife is in the hospital and is expected to be OK. Dawid is being held on $1 million bond.
