Southport mansion destroyed by fire

SOUTHPORT - A Southport mansion was completely destroyed by a fast moving fire yesterday.

Only a chimney and staircase remain standing at 323 Warner Hill Road.

The fire broke out early Sunday morning around 3 a.m.

Firefighters say the family that lived there was able to get out and no one was hurt.
