Southwestern Conn. faced extreme weather conditions in '10

NORWALK - When looking back on 2010, southwestern Connecticut residents are likely to agree they had more than their fair share of severe storms. A nor'easter March 13 knocked down hundreds of trees and power lines and left thousands without power, some for a week.Another nor'easter followed a few weeks later, which caused significant flooding for many residents.Some residents in Bridgeport lost everything in June when a tornado touched down, leaving widespread damage that stretched into Stratford. The final big blow from Mother Nature came Sunday when a blizzard brought than a foot of snow to many parts of southwestern Connecticut.
