STAMFORD - Southwestern Connecticut business owners came together Saturday to raise money for a special project to honor of one of the children killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

The businesses hosted "Ladies Night In" at the Stone House in Stamford to benefit Ben's Lighthouse.

Ben's Lighthouse was founded in memory of Ben Wheeler, a victim of the Newtown shooting.

Organizers say that honoring Wheeler keeps his legacy alive, as well as helps the children of Newtown heal.
