Southwestern CT digs out after latest snow

Temperatures will be milder by the end of the week, and are expected around 48 degrees on Friday. (2/18/14)

MILFORD - While the snow stopped falling on most of southwestern Connecticut around noon on Tuesday, flakes lingered longer in the eastern sections of the region including Milford, Orange and Woodbridge.

Piles of snow and slippery conditions made driving difficult for many residents.

Milford residents complained that snowplows threw snow into their sidewalks, making it harder to shovel.
