BRIDGEPORT - A local sportscaster with a museum-sized collection of Muhammad Ali memorabilia is mourning the boxer's death Saturday.

Bobby Ramos, who is also a retired Stratford police officer, got the chance to interview Ali several times over an 18-year career in broadcasting.

Ramos has a massive collection of Ali collectables including photos of his meetings with man himself, magazine covers and autographs, including one from the daughter of the boxing champ, Lala.

The broadcaster also brought a group of southwestern Connecticut students to meet Ali at his museum in Kentucky in 2007.

Ramos lauds Ali for being a gentleman first and a showman second, and calls him "the most famous man in the world."
