St. Patrick’s Day Parade held in Greenwich

GREENWICH - Revelers in Greenwich showed off their Irish pride for the town’s 40th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade Sunday afternoon.

The parade route started at Greenwich Town Hall and continued down Post Road and onto Greenwich Avenue.

Even though the holiday was last week, many say they were still excited to celebrate.

“It's a family tradition, we come out every single year,” said Jim Ferreira, of Greenwich. “We set up our little table, meet all of our friends. A good way to celebrate the Irish.”
