Stabbing, shooting at Norwalk club injures 2

NORWALK - Norwalk police are investigating a Sunday morning stabbing and shooting at a nightclub that sent two men to the hospital.

Police say a fight broke out near the front entrance of Enigma Café at 40 Van Zant St. around closing time. During the scuffle, a 23-year-old bouncer tried to break up the fight, but was stabbed in the stomach and shot twice in the back, authorities say.

An 18-year-old man in the crowd was also shot in the leg.

Police say the bouncer is in serious condition and the teen is in stable condition.
