Stage set for 33rd annual Oyster Festival

NORWALK - People all across the tri-state area are hoping for sunny skies this weekend over the 33rd annual Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival.

More than 50,000 people are expected to attend, and this year, event organizers say they?ve got lots of new attractions in store.

There will be a BMX stunt show, barbecue pit competitions and a Pirate Coast Adventure demonstration, where kids will get to see what it?s like to shiver their timbers.

Dozens of musical acts are also scheduled to perform over the weekend.
