NORWALK - A breakdown at the Stamford Sewage Treatment plant will reportedly cost taxpayers as much as half a million dollars to repair.

The Stamford Advocate reports four odor control systems at the plant are not working properly and were shut down earlier this week. The plant?s director says the cost to repair the units is between $200,000 and $500,000.
