Stamford artist Ken Delmar finds fame at 73
STAMFORD - A Stamford artist is enjoying newfound success late in life.
Ken Delmar says he tried to make a name for himself as an artist at least three times to no avail. At 73 years old, Delmar is enjoying newfound fame in part because of his choice of canvas.
He started painting on two-ply 11-by-10 paper towels after discovering the wonderful effect knives and brushes made on them. Delmar's popularity has grown ever since a local newspaper picked up his story.
