STAMFORD - A local blogger and biking advocate invited Stamford's mayoral candidates on a bike ride with him to see how congested the city is for drivers and bicyclists.

Mike Norris, who now bikes to work because he was tired of the constant gridlock from driving, says he wants Stamford to become more bike-friendly. He was joined on his bike by Democratic candidates William Tong and David Martin and Republican candidate Mike Fedele.

"I just wanted them to see the city from a perspective of a cyclist and acknowledge there's a few things that can be done to make the city better," says Norris.

Norris says changes he wants to see to the city include bike lanes throughout downtown Stamford and designated bike parking.
