STAMFORD - The legal team for the Stamford chimp attack victim is using a video as a last ditch effort to sway lawmakers in Hartford to allow her to sue the state for $150 million.

Charla Nash was left blind, lost both hands and underwent a face transplant after she was attacked by a chimpanzee in 2009.

She claims the state should have removed the animal from the home in Stamford where it was living as a pet.

Nash is calling the video "her day in court" and hopes it will be played at a public hearing scheduled on Friday.

Last year, her request to sue the state was denied.
