STAMFORD - Stamford city leaders are looking at a new project they hope will ease congestion on the city roads.

Officials say they're preparing to re-synchronize the city's traffic lights to eliminate bottlenecks.

They're looking for feedback as to where people believe the problem areas are.

They say the new light pattern will adjust to what drivers and pedestrians are normally doing at that time.

Officials say they will soon offer an app drivers can use to track their commutes, so the city can get a good idea of where, and when, people are hitting the road.
