STAMFORD - The owner of a Stamford garden center is being forced to move his shop and hasn?t been told why.

Dominick Franco, owner of Plants and Things on Canal Street, was told he has to move out by Dec. 31.

He has called the land owners, Building and Land Technology Management, but they haven?t given him a reason as to why he has to leave.

Franco says that during 50 years in business, he has had to move his shop eight times because of redevelopment.
