Stamford holds Christmas tree lighting

Rainy weather did not stop the city of Stamford's annual tree lighting ceremony. It was held last night at Jackie Robinson Park.

STAMFORD - Rainy weather did not stop the city of Stamford's annual tree lighting ceremony.

It was held last night at Jackie Robinson Park.

The West Side Neighborhood Revitalization Group organized the event and offered hot chocolate and a visit from Santa for the kids.

Officials say it was a great turnout despite the bad weather.
