Stamford Hospital gets seasonal flu shots

NORWALK - After weeks without any seasonal flu shots in southwestern Connecticut, Stamford Hospital received a shipment of 1,000 vaccines Tuesday.

According to Dr. Michael Parry, the people in need of a seasonal flu vaccine the most are those over the age of 65 and anyone with serious health problems. Parry also says that while H1N1 has already hit, the seasonal flu season has not yet started.

The seasonal flu shots will be available at a walk-in clinic at Stamford's Tully Health Center next Tuesday.
