STAMFORD - Stamford man is facing multiple charges after police say he tried to strangle his girlfriend.

The Stamford Advocate reports that a couple who heard the two fighting Friday night, managed to pull the girlfriend through a window out of the grasp of the man.

Christian Flores-Garcia, 25, is expected to be in court next month.
