STAMFORD - Prosecutors announced today that a Stamford man is one of nine people charged in a gun trafficking ring that was run out of New York City.

They say the men they arrested, including Brett "Agony" Carroll, are alleged members of the Bloods gang and they'd been investigating them since last summer.

Police say they seized 93 weapons during the arrests.

They say the gang members brought the guns in from Stamford and other places on Metro-North trains, then resold them in New York City.
