A Stamford man is OK after escaping an attack by three pit bulls yesterday.Police say the man had to jump onto the roof of a

STAMFORD - A Stamford man is OK after escaping an attack by three pit bulls yesterday.

Police say the man had to jump onto the roof of a car on Durant Street after the three dogs chased him.

They say he called 911 from his cell phone to get help.

They say the pit bulls were captured by animal control officers and returned to their owner.

No one was hurt.
