Stamford man pleads not guilty to child porn charge

STAMFORD - A former volunteer firefighter from Stamford pleaded not guilty today to child porn charges.

Andrew Bodnar, 49, showed little emotion as his attorney entered the plea.

Police say they seized computers and hard drives containing child porn from Bodnar's home on Coopers Pond Road last month. They say that Bodnar was arrested after a lengthy investigation.

He was dismissed as a member of the Turn Of River volunteer fire department following his arrest last month.

Bodnar is free on a $100,000 bond and will be back in court next month.
