STAMFORD - The City of Stamford will soon have a new mayor.

Mayor Dan Malloy, who didn't run for re-election after serving for 14 years, served his last day in office Monday. The city's longest-serving mayor is set to hand over the reigns to Mayor-elect Michael Pavia.

Malloy says he'll be exploring a gubernatorial run in 2010.
