STAMFORD - The man accused in a Stamford murder last week is due before a judge today.

Police say Jonathan Catchings, 24, shot and killed Raymond Hayward last Friday on the city's west side.

Catchings was arrested during a raid Wednesday.

Police say they found more than seven grams of crack cocaine and ammunition, which they will test to see if it matches the bullets that killed Hayward.
