STAMFORD - Stamford police arrested a teenage girl Thursday who with two others allegedly stole a pizza delivery driver's car.

The deliveryman left his car running on Henry Street while he went to deliver an order, according to police. Witnesses told police that three girls got in and took off.

Police chased the stolen vehicle down I-95 toward Darien, but officers stopped their pursuit because the vehicle was allegedly moving dangerously. Then the driver crashed it in front of a Dunkin' Donuts near the Metro-North station.

Police say one girl is in custody, and they're looking for two more. The first suspect's name is not being released because she is underage, police say. She faces several charges including larceny and engaging police in a pursuit.

Metro-North says it had to delay train service due to heavy police activity in the area.
