STAMFORD - Stamford police are asking for the public's help finding suspected burglar who struck a local deli last week.

Police say the suspect shattered the front door glass and went into the Taste of Poland Deli early Saturday morning.

Police provided surveillance video of the suspect, who they describe as a stocky white male, with short hair and a receding hairline. They say he is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with a design on the front and light-colored pants.

Police say video evidence is a huge tool for catching suspects.
