STAMFORD - A Stamford restaurant is celebrating its 40th anniversary with some price rollbacks.

Mario the Baker restaurant is charging the same prices as it did when it opened in 1970. For a large cheese pizza, today the price is just $2.85.

Owner Tommy Villani says he started making pizza in the 1950s in Manhattan before moving to Connecticut.

The deal does not count for deliveries and will last until Thursday.
