Stamford police arrest man in connection to homicide

Police say they have arrested 20-year-old Andrew Russell in connection with the murder of 46-year-old William James.

Stamford police say they now have the man they believe killed a city man last week.

Police say they arrested 20-year-old Andre Russell after waiting for him outside his home on Ludlow Street yesterday afternoon.

They say Russell shot and killed 46-year-old William "Buttons" James, near the corner of Woodland Place and Pacific Street last Thursday night.
