STAMFORD - Stamford police say they arrested a home invasion suspect this morning after the apartment owner tackled him to the ground. The incident happened at 111 Lockwood Ave. when a 16-year-old male broke in through the back door. Police say the homeowner interrupted the robbery attempt and the two engaged in a physical struggle. After subduing the suspect, the man says he instructed his wife to call 911. Sources tell News 12 Connecticut that the suspect is undergoing a psychological evaluation and will face charges later this week.
