STAMFORD - Stamford police teamed up with a private security company to crack down on the use of fake IDs at the Alive at Five concert series held tonight in downtown Stamford.
Specialized security officers from Madison Square Garden who are experts at detecting fake IDs were brought in. Police also increased patrols in the surrounding areas.
Police say so far they haven't arrested any of the people caught with fake IDs, but if prosecuted they could be charged with forgery.
Tonight was the final Alive at Five concert for the summer, but police say they will continue to crack down on fake IDs.
