STAMFORD - Stamford police say they are trying to figure out if the murder of a woman in Lione Park in November is what led to shots being fired into a home last week.

Police say the several shots were fired into a house on Cove Road Wednesday night.

Officers are now investigating if the shooting was in retaliation for Maxine Gooden's death.

Morris Joel, who lives at that home, was previously arrested and is facing conspiracy to commit murder charges in connection with the murder.
