STAMFORD - Stamford police are seeking the public's help as they investigate a string of stolen designer car rims.

According to police, the latest theft happened last night in the Shippan section of the city. They say it's just one of 10 reports they've received in the past eight weeks.

Officials say all of the thefts happened at night and that the suspects are targeting high-end vehicles, including an Infiniti G37S, Honda Accords, Nissan Maximas and Acura TLs.

Investigators say some of the cars were parked on streets, while others were in parking lots or driveways. They believe they are looking for several people who use a power tool to remove all four tires in less than five minutes.
