Stamford police continue to search for a man they say took off after he plowed his car into three parked cars and a utility pole.Investigators

STAMFORD - Stamford police continue to search for a man they say took off after he plowed his car into three parked cars and a utility pole.

Investigators say the driver of a green Jeep Grand Cherokee lost control of his car on Pine Tree Drive around 5:30 yesterday morning and took off on foot.

Police say a passenger in the car who remained at the scene was intoxicated.

Eighteen homes lost power because of the accident.
