STAMFORD - Stamford police are asking the public for help in finding a suspect in a violent home invasion.

Police say the incident happened on Dancy Drive last week.  They say the man was severely beaten and then robbed.

Officials say they've added additional police patrols to the area with hopes of further protecting the neighborhood as well as finding the suspect.

Stamford police are urging anyone with information to call 203-354-4636.
