Stamford police suspect Eveready Cab robbery was an inside job

STAMFORD - Stamford police say a robbery and brutal beating at a taxi company was likely an inside job.

Police say a masked man was buzzed into the Eveready Cab Company Monday morning.

They say he beat a dispatcher with a pistol and made off with thousands of dollars in cash.

The suspect is another dispatcher who had just finished their shift, according to authorities.
