STAMFORD - Officials say that two Stanford schools may be dealing with a bedbug problem.
All activities were canceled at the Dolan Middle School due to a check for bedbugs. The principal of the school sent out a letter to families saying that the school is being vacuumed tonight because a student may have bedbugs at home.
The letter also says that pest control professionals would do a follow-up check of the building tomorrow morning.
The president of the Board of Education told News 12 Connecticut by phone that a similar bedbug situation is also taking place at the Academy of Information Technology and Engineering School on High Ridge Road.
Officials say that both schools will be open tomorrow.
