STAMFORD - A Stamford teen faced charges today in connection with an attempted robbery at a liquor store.

Police say they arrested the 17-year-old suspect last night and are still looking for his accomplice.

The owner of Hope Bottle Shop on Hope Street says the hold-up occurred on New Year's Eve, when two masked men entered her store. They allegedly fired several shots and demanded cash.
