A man and woman from New York appeared before a judge today after police say the co-workers got into a fight at Stamford Town Center

STAMFORD - A man and woman from New York appeared before a judge today after police say the co-workers got into a fight at Stamford Town Center that ended in a stabbing at the mall.

According to police, a dispute over a phone bill started the fight between Guangfu Zhao and Zheng Zhuping, who work together at the Wellness Experts massage parlor. During the fight, Zhuping claims Zhao lifted her off the ground by her throat. After Zhao shoved her to the ground, police say Zhuping chased him through the mall before stabbing him in the back with a 6-inch steak knife.

Both suspects are being held on bond and are due back in court on March 3.
