Stamford 'Toys for Tots' in need of holiday toys

STAMFORD - ?Toys for Tots? says it needs many more toys to give to children in southwestern Connecticut for the holidays.

The headquarters in Stamford says it would like to take in 10,000 toys this holiday season. While drivers picked up presents at Nagi?s Jewelers, Patriot National Bank and Springdale Florist, volunteers say other drop-off locations do not have as many donations.

Organizers ask residents to deliver any toy to participating locations before Saturday, Dec. 19.
